This privacy policy governs your use of the software application "Winter Garden" for mobile devices that was created by Lotus Holdings LLC. The Application for Winter Garden is a community application that gives the user information about the City of Winter Garden and the surrounding areas. The application features Events, Deals, and features local Winter Garden businesses. The App is interactive and allows the user to post community photos and search for local restaurants and businesses.
The Winter Garden App contains augmented reality. The App is equipped with a robust and user-friendly interface that allows you to unfold new realities of the world around you. Using the app, you can view superimposed digital information on real-world objects and print materials. It allows you to interact with 3D models, animation, characters, etc. in real-time.
What information does the Application obtain and how is it used?
User Provided Information
Users can use the application without registering to our platform. The Application can collect user information upon the users request. The application gives the users the option to publish "Deals", "Events", and "Photos". In addition, the application registers the device token to send push notifications. The Winter Garden App works with 3rd Party Providers to enhance the user experience. These 3rd party providers may collect user information.
Automatically Collected Information
In addition, the Application may collect certain information automatically, including, but not limited to, the type of mobile device you use, your mobile devices unique device ID, the IP address of your mobile device, your mobile operating system, the type of mobile Internet browsers you use, and information about the way you use the Application.
Does the Application collect precise real time location information of the device?
This Application does not collect information about the location of your mobile device.
Do third parties see and/or have access to information obtained by the Application?
User data may be shared third party providers. App usage data is collected by third party analytics engine to optimize and improve user experience. We use analytics served by our third party providers to analyze how users use our app. This helps us work out what elements of the app are working and helps us improve them. The user has the option to share data related to "Events", "Deals", and "Photos" it chooses to publish while using the application.
Other information
The application uses camera on your smartphone to recognize images and show dynamic content on-screen on top of what you see through the camera on your screen. The technology is called ‘Augmented Reality’.
Children
We do not use the Application to knowingly solicit data from or market to children under the age of 13. If a parent or guardian becomes aware that his or her child has provided us with information without their consent, he or she should contact us at info@wearewg.com. We will delete such information from our files within a reasonable time.
Security
We are concerned about safeguarding the confidentiality of your information. We provide physical, electronic, and procedural safeguards to protect information we process and maintain. For example, we limit access to this information to authorized employees and contractors who need to know that information in order to operate, develop or improve our Application. The Winter Garden App and We Are Winter Garden is the property of Lotus Holdings LLC. The augmented reality images, photos, and videos have been created by Lotus Holdings, LLC. dba We Are Winter Garden or submitted to Lotus Holdings LLC. dba We Are Winter Garden with permission from a third party. By submitting their artwork, video, photo, or logo to Lotus Holdings the submitting party acknowledges that you either own the trademark or have obtained permission from the trademark owner or an authorized licensee of the trademark owner to use a trademark and you may use it in any authorized manner. Therefore, through the submission of your artwork, video, and/or logo to Lotus Holdings, you are hereby giving authorization to Lotus Holdings and its suppliers to use the artwork for both the creation of Augmented Reality images, animation, and videos for the Winter Garden App as well as the use of the images for the entertainment of our users and in future marketing or advertising. If you have not obtained permission to use a third party’s trademark, you may only use that trademark if your use is considered “fair use” under applicable trademark law or your use is otherwise non-infringing. Please note that, depending on the specific circumstances, use of a third party’s trademark in your content may constitute trademark infringement if you do not have permission to use the trademark. If you intend to use a third party’s trademark in your content, it is your responsibility to ensure that your use does not constitute trademark infringement.
Changes
This Privacy Policy may be updated from time to time for any reason. We will notify you of any changes to our Privacy Policy by posting the new Privacy Policy here. You are advised to consult this Privacy Policy regularly for any changes, as continued use is deemed approval of all changes.
